Basically, a good pair of pants for fall walks and general wear. They are not too warm to wear inside either. The outer fabric is pretty windproof, which is a good feature where I live.
The main thing that would improve this pant is elastane - some stretch for bending over -- for challenging hikes where free movement is needed! I would prefer a higher waist line as well - if a pant is meant for cold weather, why design for the inevitable gaps between top and bottom when bending and reaching?
Activities: Trail, Hiking/Trekking, Camping
Conditions: Sunny, Snowy, Rainy, Windy, Freezing, Rocky
I would recommend this product.

While the pants come up a little short on my ankle when I sit down that is the only complaint I will ever have about them. These are perfect for every activity that I have done this fall and winter from climbing to hiking to getting caught in a snow storm and having to change a tire for the first time. They are warm and comfortable. If you are super tall or have super long legs (longer than mine and i have a 34" inseam) I would stay away as these will not be long enough to cover the tops of your boots, but if you aren't freakishly tall these are must have pants in any active girl.

I see that another reviewer had a fit problem. What was a problem for her is a plus for me: the generous waist gives me ease I love in this pant. I have a slim body, but my waist is not small after having 2 kids, so I love the fact that this waist is not as tight as in a lot of other brands hiking pants. The lining is a great weight to ease the cold but not overheat me. I like the zipper at the ankle and how it allows me to put these pants on and off over boots. The outer nylon fabric is not stretchy, but the cut gives me the mobility I need in hiking and scrambling. I don't believe they would work where you might need a lot of flexibility, as in rock climbing, but for the winter hiker, these are great - as long as you don't have a really small waist, and lots of us don't nowadays, despite being fit. I'm really glad to find pants that fit me!
I would recommend this product.

The pant fit around the hips per the sizing chart but the waist was huge! Wearing a belt didn't help so had to return them, was bummed as I really liked them and would have been perfect for Colorado winters.
I would recommend this product.
