I spend long periods of time outdoors throughout the winter months. I purchased the BC Bandit with the hopes that its insulating properties would be as good as the Columbia coats I own. Well, it is, this is possibly the warmest winter hat I have ever owned. The first day I wore it I was outdoors for 6 plus hours with a real temp of 9 degrees and a steady twenty mph North wind. My ears were as toasty as could be. Good job Columbia!

Im not a big beanie kid, but the price was right and I really needed a new winter hat so I purchased this is in black and white. The omniheat inside is really lightweight but this hat is seriously an oven on my head. As soon as mine came in, my roommate placed an order for the elberberry one. I think I have found this years Christmas present!
I would recommend this product.
